EPAL launches the COOL bottle
MAR 26, 2019

garrafa coolMade of clay and in three exclusive versions, COOL has the unique quality of being able to cool your tap water ecologically, naturally and with zero energy consumption. With the COOL bottle, you can enjoy your tap water "naturally cool" and, of course, even more sustainably.

The COOL bottle is made using traditional techniques, with 100% Portuguese materials and is presented in 3 exclusive versions: red clay with black serigraph, red clay with blue serigraph and black clay. This bottle is totally hand-made on a potter’s wheel. The lid is made of cork, giving even more personality to the COOL bottle and honouring Portuguese tradition and cork, promoting the use of local renewable resources.

Around its base, the Red Clay Bottle has a black or blue serigraph image of the Águas Livres Aqueduct, the largest icon of Portuguese water supply history.

The Black Clay Bottle has a traditional manufacturing process recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage, with the only energy used being that from the hands of its creator.

The bottles combine a contemporary design with traditional materials and production techniques, providing an ecological solution with millennia of tradition that allows water to always be kept cool, with zero energy consumption.

After the Fill Forever, the award-winning reusable bottle that lets you take tap water everywhere, the famous Lisbon Soul, with the signature of Álvaro Siza Vieira, and the Lisbon Tap Water Bottle, produced in Portugal by the Depósito da Marinha Grande, EPAL is launching the new COOL bottle, maintaining its mission of continuing to bring you the best water. EPAL’s water.

The COOL bottles can be bought at the EPAL Water Museum, at Mãe d'Água das Amoreiras Reservoir, and in EPAL’s shops at a cost of 50 euros.
